Abstract

Marchiafava Bignami Disease is a rare neurodegenerative disorder affecting corpus callosum. It is usually associated with chronic use of alcohol leading to nutritional deficiencies. Degeneration of the corpus callosum can be identified in MRI brain. Prognosis of MBD is variable. There are reported cases of complete recovery, partial recovery and death.
